Sarah & Mark : Maternity

So I am super behind on keeping up with blogging as school started and I think the kids take my brain to school when they leave so I can't remember a thing. We have so much going on now a days but I am so excited to finally have things getting more organized with life. I recently started offering Boudoir sessions as well so my schedule stays somewhat busier.

So Let's dive into to this gorgeous session <3 Sarah & Mark

I meet up with these two love bird about a month or so ago and I instantly felt a creative spark with them. They were both very eager during our first meeting with talking details about how she loved my gowns & that they knew they wanted to give me full creative reins (which is always the most exciting thing to ever have clients say). I was also very tickled when they mentioned doing a Indianapolis Colts theme with their lil guy who is due right around Halloween! Which if you were to know me personally, Colts football is a big deal in our family. But that's for another blog post in a couple of months!

This session I went into startin to feel a bit overwhelmed with everything that was going on in my life & frankly I was starting to question if I really was creative. So normally I keep seamless backdrops on hand for sessions but this time I was not so prepared. The date we planned I spaced what month it even was, I forgot to order paper! Seriously I think my children hid my brain so I can't focus when they are at school! But I had a wonderful photographer friend who hooked me up with a small roll of 4' wide paper. No big cut it in two stripes.... WRONG. It was meant to be a soft mocha creamy color, it photographed YELLOW!!!! Secretly I panicked for a moment when I saw it on the back of the screen but then I had a brain fart...this will test my creative soul again! And for some reason, that is what sparked something in me that day...

I knew Sarah wanted a back lit image in one of my Sew Trendy Accessories gowns (best gowns hands down). But I felt so alive creating these, plus Sarah is breathtakingly gorgeous!!!! I don't know if it was the late night editing or just bias that I have the most amazingly beautiful mommas in front of my camera, but doesn't she look like she could totally jaw dropping! & she was worried she's look a lil plum... NOT! Bless her heart she has the most perfectly round belly I've ever seen! & then there is the way her wonderful hubby to be looks at her...

Ladies... This couple seriously was out of a fairytale! Mark of course is like any guy and during the belly revealing shots of course he made the "dude comments" like "whoa sexy momma" or even some with a lil bit more PG 13 humor. But there were moments I looked over and saw a man just admiring the woman he loves. The way he couldn't take his eyes off her, the way he touched her when I'd pose them together... it made this hopeless romantic's heart just flutter.

& let's not forget the big brother to be.. Jayden is all boy! He was so not vibing as well with the idea of picture taking LOL! The outdoor location we went to is an awesome spot for fishing and going on a hike. Well he was way more interested in throwing rocks in the river or seeing how mar he could climb up on the larger rocks. He was a stinker with some cheesey faces for me but I think he's a lil nervous and excited to be a big brother. It's a lot of pressure being a big sibling, I have 3 siblings of my own and am the oldest so I totally vibe that one. I still can not believe dad hasn't taken him fishing yet! Seriously... Mark, get on that you slacker! LOL just kidding... but no seriously... do it!

Personally I am super excited to see Jayden as a big brother! He was a little shy towards me at first but I can bet he will be so proud to show off his baby brother! I mean look at that face... His goofy personality is just contagious. And you can tell he is at the age when giving hugs is starting to become yucky for him LOL! ugh cracks me up when you can just tell older kids are not so excited for cuddle puddles. Normally I can always tell within a few moments on someone's character & let's just say this is a family surrounding with LOVE. <3

So another side story during this session... On our way to the outdoor location my husband failed to inform me my car was almost out of gas! So here I was going to the middle of nowhere with clients in tow, no bank card or cash, and we were on a time crunch. Thankfully my wonderful mother in law came to my rescue! And in the chaos to get to the location, we forgot the grab the other maternity gown! So we speed through poses at the location & rush back to the studio before they had to head out.... & I am certainly glad we had to wait for these shots...

That sunset glow is perfect around 7:30 pm right in my own front yard! & this dress was so perfect on Sarah's curves <3 Almost so she asked me where she could buy the gown! I know this vendor is amazing & the gowns are so soft and comfy!!! SEriously if you a photographer or even a momma looking for a maternity dress thats jaw droping & comfy, check out www.sewtrendyaccessories.com

Then came our last moments we had for one last creative idea on me... & I'm looking around my huge yard for somewhere intimate, something new... then I saw it, CORNFIELD! It totally paid off to get them to climb in and give me some raw loving emotions! I seriously envy these shots because I got married next to a cornfield & this is Indiana after all.... But again Fairytale love y'all! <3

Mark & Sarah, thank you both for choosing me to capture this special milestone in your lives. I feel increadably blessed to photograph your growing family & document your amazing love story!
