Hailey : Newborn
So this one is a little bit behind... like ok maybe like almost 2 months behind but I can't help but want to over share this presh lil angel some more! I first met Samantha & Michael through a cousin of mine who worked with Samantha. She was interested in a Birth and Newborn session & thankfully my cousin likes to help me out and put my name out there. So we met up for dinner and it was an instant friendship! Like I felt right away that Sam was going to be a huge blessing in my life! Her hubby is also in the "art world" and to help explain the first images, he runs an awesome company for videography & gets to travel all over the tri state area filming racing events (my first dream job as a child next to photographer was to be the first female NASCAR driver & marry Tony Stewart... thanks Danika for stealing one dream).

So lets get to sharing some adorableness...
Fast forward to late June, Hailey came in a sleepy lil ball of rolly curlyness. It had only been a lil under two weeks since I seen her but she had already changed so much. Her daddy's only request was a simple shot with his other "baby" for his office. & I had some serious envy because I always dreamed to have a shot like this of my babies with my own camera <3

SHe really was such a dream baby! She slept almost the whole time... well for the most part. I think we honestly would pose her and me along with her mom and dad just admired her perfect lil features. When I photograph a baby I've been so blessed to capture entering the world, a part of me feels like they're family. Even though Hailey's birth didn't go exactly to plan... she made one heck of an impact on me.

Mom is also a nurse & it's amazing to hear how she says she's studied all this time yet when it came to her own baby somethings escaped her. That's when I feel an extra bond with my mommas, we chat all things mommy. I am so very pro breastfeeding so Samantha's passion to be able to breastfeed was inspiring. I also will tell you that I encourage my first time moms to see me as a friend when it comes to any questions they may have! I have went through breastfeeding both successfully for 16 months and also the struggles of "baby blues" and failing to breastfeed after a few weeks. So I've seen a few perspectives of the challenges motherhood can throw your way. Don't hesitate to reach out & no question you have is a "dumb question".

Hailey really is a lucky lil lady to have such awesome parents. I am so excited to see this lady grow as her mom and dad vouched for my "GROW WITH ME PACKAGE" (you can check those out on the packages tab). Also the creative soul in me is jumping for joy because of the continued nautical theme we will be doing! With her bubbling personality already, I'm sure she will always have that sass.

I mean come on.... look at that smile!

& the joy her parents have for her is a real Disney fairytale! I've honestly never seen parents shining so brightly over their bundle. And for a dad who was not very pumped up for pictures.... I'd say he was so smitten with "Miss Mac" that it was easy to talk him into lots of posing, even though she "sharted" on his hand LOL!!!

I can't wait to see how big this lil lady is in a few weeks for her next session! <3 So I hope y'all enjoyed her lil sneak peak & I promise to keep better track of blogs soon as I find my sanity! Which I'm sure my children take to school with them during the day... oh well. I tend to be my most creative late at night anyways.
